Man faces multiple charges after Asheboro Police seize drugs, 22 firearms

ASHEBORO, N.C. — A man is facing multiple drug and firearms charges, according to the Asheboro Police Department.

On Jan. 17, the Asheboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on North McCrary Street. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office assisted police officers.

Officers found and seized the following drugs:

  • Cocaine, Total Weight: 327.1 grams (3/4 lb)
  • MDMA, Total Weight: 73.3 grams
  • Marijuana, Total Weight: 15,780 grams (34.8 lbs)
  • LSD, Total Weight: 10.6 grams (209 tablets)
  • Oxycodone, Total Weight: 16.8 grams (109 Tablets)
  • Psilocybin, Total Weight: 10.5 grams
  • Clonazepam Total Weight: 19.5 grams (130 Tablets)
  • Morphine, Total Weight: 1. 2 grams (3 Tablets)
  • Diazepam, Total Weight: 1.1 grams (2 Tablets)

As a result of the investigation, officers also took non-tax-paid spiritous liquor, an unknown amount of U.S. currency, an unknown amount of ammunition, and 22 firearms…
