Roanoke gas prices up 13.7 cents per gallon in the last week

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ/ GasBuddy Release) -Average gasoline prices in Roanoke have risen 13.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.99/g Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 155 stations in Roanoke. Prices in Roanoke are 14.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 7.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 8.1 cents in the last week and stands at $3.60 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Roanoke was priced at $2.74/g Sunday while the most expensive was $3.59/g, a difference of 85.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.55/g while the highest was $3.99/g, a difference of $1.44/g.

The national average price of gasoline has risen 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.09/g Monday. The national average is up 4.5 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 1.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country…
