From urgent cares to city-parish offices, here’s what’s closing In Baton Rouge ahead of the winter weather

As freezing temperatures impact southeast Louisiana, almost all Baton Rouge-area schools are closing. In addition to schools, government offices, and several businesses are also planning to close on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

All state offices across the state will be closed on Tuesday “due to extreme winter weather,” according to a social media post on Friday from Louisiana State Civil Service, the agency that acts as the human resources department for state employees.

East Baton Rouge Parish Library locations will also be closed on Tuesday for the severe weather, as well as all Baton Rouge city-parish offices…
