A mom from Indiana has been accused of stuffing her two-year-old child into a suitcase before boarding a bus.
The authorities were alerted by the bus driver who said he heard Gibson say she’d put her child in a suitcase. He stopped the bus and called law enforcement. It is not immediately clear if she made made the alleged comment to the driver or if he just overheard.
Investigators reviewed video footage from the bus which showed the suspect boarding the bus with the suitcase on South Curry Pike at around 1:43 pm on the day. The video reportedly shows the mom opening up the suitcase and retrieving the child around 18 minutes after she first boarded, Indiana Public Media reported.
According to court documents she tried to explain away the alleged actions by saying she had put the child there “to keep him warm.”…
