California’s Rio Vista Bridge Nightly Work to Cause Delays Through February 5

RIO VISTA, CA – Motorists traveling on State Route 12 (SR-12) near the Rio Vista Bridge should expect nightly delays through February 5, according to Caltrans District 3. Crews are completing pavement work under one-way traffic control, with delays of up to 20 minutes anticipated. Work hours are scheduled to avoid peak commute times: weekdays from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Fridays starting at 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

The bridge remains safe for travel, but boaters must provide a four-hour notice to the drawbridge tender for span openings. Updates are available on Caltrans QuickMap or social media channels.
