Want to give a head’s up to folks about assault/mugging in the area by a group of teens. Last night my 70 year old mother and I were assaulted at 14th and Farragut around 7:45 PM. This is the intersection at LAMB and John Lewis, a relatively safe area given the two schools and cameras, however a group of 4 young males snuck up behind us and pinned my arms down and pushed me down to the ground. Two stood over me and two cornered my mother against the fence demanding our property. I told them we had nothing which we did, literally did not even have my phone on me. They finally were satisfied and walked away up 14th. I have no idea where they popped out from because no one was behind me when I crossed the street and walked up the block, so they popped out of somewhere and got me when I stopped to see who was behind me…
