MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) Minneapolis police are investigating two separate fatal shootings that happened within minutes of each other on Monday night.

Minneapolis police said two men were fatally shot within 15 minutes of each other. Investigators are working to determine whether the shootings are related, but there is not a definitive answer at this time.

“Our officers and investigators are doing everything they can to determine the circumstances that led up to these fatal shootings,” Chief Brian O’Hara said. “I am grateful for the officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel who work tirelessly, even when the weather poses a danger to them.”
