Man killed after collision with train near Seattle waterfront

SEATTLE — A man is dead after being hit by a train.

Seattle Fire first shared that crews were at the scene of a train vs. pedestrian collision at the intersection of Broad Street and Alaskan Way at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday.

A few minutes later, SFD said that the pedestrian was dead and that law enforcement was at the scene investigating. A police investigation determined that the man was walking westbound on Broad Street and waited as the southbound train went past…
