Bishop Vashti McKenzie delivered the keynote address at the 40th Annual Madison & Dane County MLK Day Observance, held at Overture Center for the Arts in Madison on Monday, Jan. 20.
The program included freedom songs and speakers including Ruben L. Anthony Jr. of the Urban League of Greater Madison and two Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award recipients, Sheray Wallace and Charles Tubbs.
