MADISON, Wis. — Madison Fire Department crews came to the rescue after a woman fell into the icy waters of Lake Monona Tuesday morning.
MFD’s Lake Rescue Team was called to the area of the lake near the 800 block of Spaight Street at around 7:43 a.m. for a report of a woman in the water.
Two Madison police officers were able to get out to the woman with a paddle board before paramedics arrived, and pulled her to shore. She was taken to a local hospital. She was not hurt, however paramedics had concerns about her exposure to the cold…
