Greensboro City Council accepts recommendations to improve minority and women business program

The Greensboro City Council on Tuesday accepted recommendations from a 2024 disparity study, which aims to improve the minority and women business enterprise program.

The effort comes as part of the city’s policy to ensure all businesses are afforded an opportunity in the contracting process. Recommendations include targeted outreach and establishing a more effective non-discrimination policy.
