( KLFY ) — Acadiana’s snow day has now extended to nearly a week, as several schools and districts have elected to remain closed on Friday.
Schools are fighting the cold and snow, as well as issues with running water, according to Vermilion Parish Superintendent Tommy Byler.
“We will be checking facilities and attempting to turn the water back on,” Byler said, in a post on the schools’ Facebook page. “In some of our schools, water and pressure may be an issue as the water issues that many are having are not immune to the schools.”…
