Grandparents accused of stopping capture of Tyler murder suspect arrested

TYLER, Texas — The grandparents of a man accused of killing the mother of his children have been arrested.

Carolyn and Willie Johnson, both 75, of Tyler, are charged with hindering apprehension after their grandson Jorian Jackson, 29, of Plano, was found at their home Wednesday evening.

Jackson is accused of killing Cheyenne Russell, 26, of Nacogdoches, on Jan. 6 at an apartment complex located at 9999 Bellwood Lake Rd. in Tyler. Russell was found dead in the apartment with multiple gunshot wounds…
