Metro Atlanta has already exceeded its average snowfall amount for the year

With two winter storms in just as many weeks, metro Atlanta has already surpassed its average snowfall for the year.

So far this month, we have seen 3.2 inches of snowfall recorded at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, which is where the official measurements are taken.
