The Channahon Village Board on Monday heard about a proposed multifamily development project. Channahon Mayor Missey Moorman Schumacher explains the details.
“So JCD is a residential multifamily development being proposed, and it is a six building two hundred and forty total units of multifamily housing. It is out near Route six and Ridge Road very close to Mallard Point Apartments that are already in existence. And so this was just a concept plan that they brought before the board last night to get some feedback on it. You know one of the things that I said was, well they talked about amenities, a clubhouse and a pool. You know we ask questions about like the management company would they be there all the time and available to the village.”
