EDWARDSVILLE — A Pontoon Beach woman was charged after allegedly striking her husband in the head with an axe, claiming she was drunk and feeling “homicidal” at the time.
The 56-year-old woman was charged on Jan. 21 with aggravated domestic battery, a Class 2 felony; and aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony.
