Arlington Police make second arrest in business robbery

Arlington Police have made a second arrest in the robbery of a payday loan business on Pioneer Parkway on Jan. 10. They say two men went into the business, pointed guns at four employees, and forced them into the back while they “rummaged” through their desks and purses.

Police say a passerby called 911 when he saw men walk in with guns.

“Our community loves us. They’re supportive of us,” says Chief Al Jones. “That just shows when you have the people of your community, the eyes and ears, willing to give us a call, that’s how we keep Arlington safe.”…
