Man accused of killing 13-year-old girl found competent to stand trial

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man accused of stabbing a 13-year-old girl to death on the Fourth of July was found competent to stand trial.

During a hearing Thursday, a judge ruled Jerry Dorisme is mentally capable, overturning a previous finding that he was not competent for trial.
