MT. GREENWOOD — Four teenagers have been charged in the Jan. 11 death of a coyote at the edge of the Ridge Country Club in Mount Greenwood.
The four, all 16 or 17 years old, face “various conservation-related violations” for their role in killing the coyote, Jayette Bolinski, director of communications for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, said in a statement Thursday.
DNR officers “talked to witnesses, reviewed video and found the coyote’s carcass after it had been shot on the railroad tracks with a bow and then stomped,” Bolinski said…
