Amarillo Police execute 3 separate search warrants on Jan. 23, Jan. 24

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department’s Neighborhood Police Unit announced that it executed three separate search warrants with help from the Gang Intelligence Unit, SWAT, and PACE officers.

According to APD, on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24 law enforcement officers executed three separate search warrants resulting in the findings of multiple firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories, as well as the arrest of a wanted person.

APD said these actions by law enforcement aim to decrease violent criminal street gang activities in Amarillo.
