LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The FDA recently banned Red Dye No. 3 on Jan. 15. You might not know exactly what that is, but you’ve probably had it in drinks, candy, desserts, and even some medications.
The FDA first allowed companies to use it in 1907, but since then, they’ve found it poses a potential health risk.
