It was a chilly day across the High Plains. Temperatures reached the upper 30s and 40s. Below seasonal temperatures will continue to persist this weekend. Morning temps on Sunday will be frigid in the teens and 20s. We are tracking light southerly winds tomorrow, less than 15 mph. Afternoon temperatures will moderate into the upper 30s and 40s. We will have mostly dry conditions for the weekend and the start of the new workweek. Monday’s temps will be near seasonal. We are tracking an upper-level storm system that will move into the area for the middle of the next week. The chance for a mix of rain and snow showers could be here as early as Wednesday. An increase of low-level moisture is anticipated Wednesday night. This system will have impactful winter weather conditions. Accumulation totals are still uncertain. Temps will be chilly in the 30s and 40s for the end of the workweek. Have a great and safe weekend!
