I won’t go into the many reasons why our driving is on a par with how cattle stampede. In the Miami Springs traffic circle, based on the number of misses, near misses and “Oh my God, did you see what that guy just did” was there ever a doubt about un-attentive drivers? Over the years, some of us have not noticed how to negotiate a traffic circle even with a back seat driver screaming in our ears. Don’t even think about driving in England where they drive on the opposite side of the road and driving through a ‘roundabout’ is normal. For us, a ‘roundabout’ would incite rioting. What are the rules for traffic circles, and do we care? Why does the State of Florida have so many rules we don’t follow?
The earth occupies a ‘sweet spot’ in our solar system which is not too close and not too far from our sun, assuring us that life as we know it will continue. That includes any, and all news that revolves around P Diddy. We, as drivers, will now have to occupy that same type of space as we careen on down the highways and byways of the Sunshine State (Motto: No license, no problem)
I’m sorry to bring this to your attention but a law passed by the Florida legislature makes it illegal to drive slowly in the so called ‘fast’ lane. (Also known as the ‘I’m going as fast as I can but there’s always an idiot who needs to get ahead of me lane’) Baloney! This is just another assault on the typical Multi-tasking driver in South Florida…
