The land has been annexed and the development approved, but residents aren’t giving up the fight yet.
“It’s principal now. Barefoot has the people and the voters who are educated and passionate about this project,” said Jolene Puffer, one of the organizers of a letter-signing campaign to petition the city of North Myrtle Beach regarding a controversial development. “This is an opportunity for us to stand up for the whole city and say, ‘when does this stop?’”
