Police, family, and neighbors had been searching for missing 12-year-old Juan Sebastian Mejia Acevedo since January 24, hoping to find him alive. Sadly, three days after the family last saw Juan, divers found his body in a pond near his family’s apartment. The day he disappeared, Juan’s school was closed due to inclement weather.
