Convenience store clerk arrested for selling alcohol to minor in Haines City

HAINES CITY, Florida – A convenience store clerk was arrested Monday after selling alcohol to a 17-year-old during a Polk County Sheriff’s Office operation. The minor, a student assisting deputies in the Operation Pop Top campaign, successfully purchased an alcoholic beverage at the Haines City Food Mart on East Hinson Avenue, leading to the arrest of 43-year-old Shyam Sunder.
