Never forget: Gov. DeWine gathers many to remember the Holocaust

On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau on Jan. 27, the grandson of four Holocaust survivors stood in the Ohio Statehouse and recounted an experience where a hairdresser didn’t know about the Holocaust. Beyond his parents and grandparents, the Holocaust is woven into the story of Robbie Friedman, a commissioner for the Ohio Holocaust and Genocide Memorial and Education Commission .
