NYC Residents Thank ICE for Raids

New York City residents are expressing relief after recent ICE raids targeting violent criminals. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, present during the operations, stated that New Yorkers have thanked law enforcement for their efforts. Noem emphasized the administration’s commitment to public safety.

Several residents, particularly in predominantly minority neighborhoods, echoed Noem’s sentiments. One individual described a group of migrants living in overcrowded conditions, allegedly involved in drug use and property damage.

Another resident expressed gratitude for the arrest of alleged Tren de Aragua gang leader Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco. An 80-year-old Bronx resident also voiced support for the raids, emphasizing the need for safer streets.

Matthew Tragesser, a senior communications director at the Heritage Foundation, praised the Trump administration for targeting criminal illegal immigrants. He acknowledged the scale of the challenge, referencing the large number of individuals who entered the country during the previous administration.

New York City Council member Vickie Paladino signaled a change in approach towards migrant criminals, stating that authorities are now targeting the “worst of the worst.” She declared that the “party is over” for criminal migrants in New York City.
