The burning of three African American churches in St. Landry Parish five years ago is being remembered. The honor took the shape of a performance in movement, music, and words at the Heymann Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, January 29. Sacred Spaces by Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra was performed for area school students.
