Orange County man indicted for fentanyl distribution leading to two deaths

SANTA ANA, California – A federal grand jury has indicted a 21-year-old Laguna Niguel man for allegedly distributing fentanyl, resulting in two overdose deaths in spring 2023. Michel Joseph Abdallah, also known as “Mike,” faces multiple charges, including distribution of fentanyl resulting in death and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. Abdallah is charged in a six-count indictment with two counts of distribution of fentanyl resulting in death, two counts of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and two counts of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes, according to a press release.
