ORLANDO, Florida – Alberto Ismael Salinas Valencia, a 20-year-old from Orlando, has pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl and possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, according to United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg. Salinas Valencia, who is illegally present in the United States, faces a minimum of 15 years to life in federal prison, with a sentencing date yet to be set. Between August 2023 and August 2024, Salinas Valencia operated an online business selling firearms, fentanyl, and cocaine in the Orlando area. An undercover law enforcement officer discovered his online store and conducted several undercover transactions. During the investigation, Salinas Valencia sold the officer multiple firearms, including two machine guns, fentanyl pills, and cocaine.
