New Hampshire driver charged after eluding Vermont State Police, crash in Petersburg

CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) — Vermont State Police say a New Hampshire man is facing charges in both New York and Vermont, following an incident earlier this month. On Jan. 21, at approximately 2020 hours, Vermont State Police attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on a red Nissan Rogue after said vehicle reportedly followed a marked VSP cruiser at a dangerously close distance while traveling south on US RT 7 in the area of the Bennington/Shaftsbury Town Lines.
