EUGENE, Ore. – A local well-known specialty outdoor retailer in Eugene is preparing to move to a new location across town after more than 30 years in their current spot. REI officials said they’ve outgrown their current location on Lawrence Street, where they’ve been since 1992, and will move to Oakway Center in the former location of ‘Bed, Bath, and Beyond,’ which is 10,000 square-feet larger. With the extra space, they say they’ll be able to expand their footwear, cycling, and camping departments but some customers are sad to see the business move elsewhere…
