SOUTHERN OREGON & NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — Rain and snow will be widespread through the region Saturday night into Sunday with snow levels lowering to 2,000′ by later in the day on Sunday in Southern Oregon. Snow and gusty winds will make for very difficult travel for much of the day Sunday along and east of the Cascades through Klamath and Lake County and over the Siskiyou Mountains, including at Siskiyou Summit. We will see snow impacting Northern California, but snow levels will range between 3,000′ to 5,000′ through the day Sunday. The atmospheric river will be enhanced Sunday night into Monday with snow levels lowering to valley floors west of the Cascades. The morning commute on Monday could be quite difficult in the Rogue Valley, especially in Jackson County. The most significant snowfall will be above 2,000′ on the westside in Southern Oregon.
