A dive team made a somber discovery Thursday in Vance County, uncovering human remains. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the finding.
The medical examiner later identified the remains as those of 33-year-old Dana Leigh Mustian. Mustian had been missing for over a year.
She was last seen at her home on November 30, 2023. Her father officially reported her missing just days later, on December 4, 2023.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to Vance County Sheriff Curtis Brame and his office for their assistance in the case. The investigation into Mustian’s disappearance and death is ongoing.
