Colder and windy tomorrow as we return near average for the week ahead

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – I hope you enjoyed the warm temperatures of the past week, because we will say goodbye to them tomorrow and for the foreseeable future. A cold front moving through tonight and tomorrow morning will take the 60’s we saw today and drop us into the 30’s by tomorrow afternoon. Northern parts of Nebraska are already feeling the effects of the cold front with cooler temperatures today, and will wake up fairly chilly tomorrow morning with lows in the 20’s. Morning lows for the rest of us will stay in the mid to upper 30’s. This is going to be a weird day as we will also see our high temperatures for the day occur in the morning with a high in the low 40’s in the Tri-Cities and Lincoln, and mid to upper 30’s in North Platte. The same can be said for the rest of the area for the fact that we will all see our daytime highs occur in the morning. Temperatures do steady out throughout the day in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, before dropping into the 20’s into the evening……
