ASU spinoff develops new coating that could keep Phoenix roofs up to 40 degrees cooler

A new kind of roof coating developed by an Arizona State University spinoff company is having some success in cooling the buildings it’s on. The firm, called EnKoat, is testing its product at the university’s Polytechnic campus.
