There is nothing stopping communities in all 50 states (and Puerto Rico) from celebrating Black History Month, and that is what is happening in California. According to ABC 7 , several Black History Month celebrations are planned in Southern California. On Feb. 4, the Woodcrest Library is hosting an African American and Black History Month Activism Through Art event.
