HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Most of the area will be socked under clouds today with the best chance of a little sun being in Eastern Nebraska. Even a few flurries or extremely light snow may continue to fly, but with little to no accumulation, I don’t expect there to be any travel issues. The best chance of flurries will be over the western half of Nebraska. Winds out of a northeast or east direction will turn more easterly or southeasterly and will be a bit brisk with gusts up to around 20 mph. High temperatures this afternoon will mostly range from the upper 10s northeast to near 30° in the southeast. The winds will make it feel a bit colder. Clouds will continue overnight and there is the potential for some patchy freezing drizzle. The best chance for some very light icing will be over eastern and far northern portions of Nebraska.
