Oysters from one area of La. recalled after 15 people get norovirus-like illnesses

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Oysters from one part of Louisiana have been recalled after 15 people got sick with norovirus-like illnesses. State health officials said the oysters involved were harvested out of Oyster Harvesting Area 3, which is located east of Lake Borgne, north of Elio Bay, and includes the Chandeleur Islands and surrounding marshes. The area has been shut down and is expected to remain closed for at least 21 days…
