Man Accused of Kennestone Hospital Burglary

Rocco Jordana Rampolla, 30, of Monroe, North Carolina, is accused of burglary at the cancer building at Kennestone Hospital, between Jan. 28 at 9:41 p.m. and Jan. 29 at 2:16 a.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.

Rampolla was observed on Kennestone Hospital CCTV entering the cancer building by following an Uber Eats driver and departing the cancer unit at 2:16 a.m. He was located by Kennestone Security shortly thereafter and his belongings were inventoried. Security personnel found Rampolla with two Apple tablets, an EpiPen, a lock box containing blank doctor prescription pads and headphones with hospital identification markings. Rampolla told security personnel that he had ditched a bookbag outside the hospital with other stolen items. Security was able to locate the other stolen merchandise, according to the warrant.

Rampolla is charged with burglary – second degree. He was arrested on Jan. 30 at 2:05 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
