Bus rider attacked by 3 men at WeGo Central station in downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Three men are in police custody after allegedly beating and robbing a man at WeGo Central in Downtown Nashville Tuesday night.

According to authorities, around 9 p.m. a man reported to police that he was robbed as he got off the bus and walked out of the downtown WeGo transit center, located at 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

He told officers as he was leaving the station, three men shoved him to the ground and began punching and kicking him. During the attack, his phone and earbuds fell out of his pocket, and the men picked them up and left, reports said.

The victim followed them back into the station and asked for his phone back when one of the men — Mario Ealy, 33 — punched him in the face, according to authorities…
