Ahead of snow, RI school are canceling, announcing distance learning: See list

With snow in the forecast, several Rhode Island school districts are announcing closures or remote learning days for Thursday, Feb. 6.

Rhode Island is expected to get 2 to 3 inches of snow across most of the state , and between 1 to 2 inches along the coastline, according to the National Weather Service. A light glaze from ice is also possible.
