Middle school crossing guard struck by alleged speeding motorist: Bakersfield PD

BAKERFSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A crossing guard at Stiern Middle School was struck by an alleged speeding motorist who was unable to stop Wednesday morning, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

The collision was reported near College Avenue and Morning Drive around 8 a.m. when the motorist struck the crossing guard as the guard was helping students cross the street.
