We do have a widespread weather-maker heading toward Michigan, and especially Lower Michigan, for Saturday and Saturday night. It’s going to make most of us shovel some snow, but I don’t think it will be what most of us would call a mid-winter snowstorm here in Michigan.
The first thing to know about this weather system is the timing. Snow should start during the day Saturday. Northern Lower Michigan might have light snow starting in the morning with snow waiting until afternoon to start in southern Lower Michigan. Eventually by late afternoon and early evening the snow will be falling steadily and at a light-to-moderate clip across our state.
