NY governor calls for arrests after Marcy inmate death ruled a homicide. What we know

Following the ruling that the death of inmate Robert Brooks was a homicide on Wednesday, Gov. Kathy Hochul is calling for arrests and charges.

According to a lawyer representing the family of Brooks, the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office found the cause of death to be compression of the neck and multiple blunt force injuries.
