DeKalb County Announces Adjusted Sanitation Schedule for Presidents Day Weekend

For the residents of DeKalb gearing up for Presidents Day weekend, it’s time to mark your calendars with the revised sanitation schedule, as there won’t be any trash pickup on the holiday itself. DeKalb County announced that in observance of Presidents Day on Monday, February 17, residential sanitation services will be pushed back a day throughout the week.

If your trash normally gets hauled away on Mondays, you’ll need to wait until Tuesday, February 18, for your bins to be emptied, and this one-day shift will continue down the week’s line; so, the Tuesday regulars need to sit tight until Wednesday, and so on until Friday’s collections roll around, wrapping up the week.
