EF1 tornado brought 95mph winds Thursday morning to northern Hart County, NWS says

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An EF1 tornado with 95 mph winds touched down early Thursday morning near the LaRue/Hart county line, the National Weather Service said.

The NWS said its survey team will visit the area in northern Hart County on Thursday and encouraged anyone impacted by the storm to share damage reports.

Several lines of storms moved across western and central Kentucky on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, dropping heavy rain, lightning and damaging winds in some areas.
