CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 39-year-old Myrtle Beach woman was arrested Sunday after Conway police said she made multiple 911 calls threatening to blow up the police department.
Colette Rubio also allegedly used her fingers to pretend to shoot an officer and made several verbal threats to kill an officer who was trying to take her into custody, a police report said. She also kicked and spat on an officer, prompting officers to place a facemask on her.
Police charged Rubio with first-degree assault and battery; assault on a police officer; making a bomb threat or conveying false information about a bomb threat; disobeying a police officer; resisting arrest; and unlawful use of 911.
