Teen appears in Miami-Dade bond court following fatal crash

MIAMI – A 17-year-old boy appeared in bond court Friday morning, days after he was accused of stealing a car and then crashing it into a motorcycle in Miami, killing the motorcyclist.

Omari Terry faces charges of vehicular homicide, driving without a license causing death and grand theft auto.

He was granted a $17,500 bond and will be placed on house arrest with a GPS monitor if he posts bail.

As part of the conditions of the house arrest, Terry will have a curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is not allowed to drive until he gets a valid driver’s license…
